Wishing you all a prosper new year!

2015 was very challenging and quite rough for me in many levels.
Maybe one day I’ll tell that story, but for now, I look forward to 2016 as
a new chapter. A better chapter full of wonderful things!

I hope 2016 is memorable for all of us.

Okay everyone, this is the last post about the Copyright Act I make (promise!) mainly because I want to help clear some of the misunderstanding/misinformation that might have arisen from Will Terry’s original post.

The following link is a more comprehensive overview of what is going on. Here they explain and breakdown everything so you understand the issue withought being too alarming. They also have links to help you along the way, such as letter samples, the full Orphan Works PDF and the call for letters from the Copyright Office.

Long time no blog~

I’ve been incredibly busy these past few months but I crawled out of my cave to announce a little somethin’-somethin’~

The Project for Awesome is here!! Woop woop!

Some of you might be aware already, but the Project for Awesome is an Indiegogo campaign that happens every year during December in order to raise money for charity and decrease world suck. During Project for Awesome, thousands of people all over the world post and promote videos for charities of all kinds. At the end, the money raised will be divided between Save the Children and Partners in Health along other community chosen charities depending on votes raised on the Project for Awesome website.

This year I was very honored to have a chance to donate 45 posters of my Fault in Our Stars fan art which you can get by donating to the “Nerdfighter Art” tier along with thousands of submissions by other artists in the community. This week one of my favorite artists, Victoria Ying, started a #7DaysOfColor Challenge over @instagram.

Every day of the week is assigned one of the colors of the rainbow. The objective of the challenge is to upload a drawing every day using the color of the day as subject matter. To spice things up for myself I made the week "Audrey Hepburn Week" using her different dresses as inspiration!

Artsy Update:

It’s been a week since En Voyage got funded and it feels pretty great!!

I’ve spent this week (and the one before) testing the waters – trying new materials, getting sketchbooks, Light boxes, paints, adjusting my schedule– and I can say with confidence I’ve got my process figured our (Or most of it) so far.

Here is what my life will be for the next three months:

It was very VERY very tough at first, but I realized I’ve been a lot more productive during the day/afternoon with this new schedule (I just need to work on not missing the gym >_>)

I feel accomplished at the end of every day and I’m sure that, as long as I stick to this schedule, I will be able to finish En Voyage (and other jobs) in no time! :D
